I-95 comes from Richmond Virginia in the South to the Washington DC beltway. It is the most crowded of the highways as it is used by East Coast travelers.
I-66 is the primary highway from the Shenandoah Mountains and through western Fairfax County to the beltway.
Route 267 is the Dulles Toll Road, which is the popular connection to Reston, Herndon in Fairfax County and fast growing Loudoun County.
Route 7 extends to Leesburg, VA.
The Fairfax County Parkway, Route 7100, is also called the outer beltway.
